Kasaragod Municipality Chairperson Shahina Saleem unveiled the cleanliness message murals painted in public spaces within the municipality, funded by the KSWMP. Vice Chairman K.M. Haneef presided over the function. Mehrunnisa Hameed, Chairperson of the Health Standing Committee, welcomed the gathering. Standing Committee Chairpersons Hameed Bedira, Jafar Kamal, and Vidyashree, along with Ward Councilor Ramakrishna Holla, Municipality Clean City Manager-in-charge Biju, KSWMP Social Expert Sooraj K.V., and SWM Engineer Neethu Ram, addressed the gathering. Municipal Secretary Shaju delivered the vote of thanks. Officials from the municipal health department and sanitation workers also attended the event.

The Kasaragod Municipality, District Administration, and District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) are jointly organizing the "Kasaragod Beach Run" at Nellikunnu Beach on May 24th. The beach run will flag off promptly at 6:00 AM.

കാസര്‍കോട് നഗരസഭ, ജില്ലാ ഭരണകൂടം, ജില്ലാ ടൂറിസം പ്രമോഷന്‍ കൗണ്‍സില്‍ (DTPC) എന്നിവയുടെ സംയുക്താഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ മെയ് 24ന് നെല്ലിക്കുന്ന് ബീച്ചില്‍ ''കാസര്‍കോട് ബീച്ച് റണ്‍'' സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. രാവിലെ കൃത്യം 6 മണിക്ക് ബീച്ച് റണ്‍ ആരംഭിക്കും. 

As part of the Swachh Survekshan 2026 and the Green Assembly Election initiative, the Kasaragod Municipality, in joint collaboration with the Suchitwa Mission and KSWMP, organized a community art event, a sanitation rally, and a garbage-free New Kerala pledge. The event, held near the Kasaragod New Bus Stand as part of the Green Election Campaign, was officially inaugurated by the Honorable District Collector, Arjun Pandian, who initiated the artwork.

As part of Swachh Survekshan 25-26, Kasaragod Municipality partnered with Captains NGO of LBS Engineering College kasaragod students, to organize a beach clean drive at Nellikunu beach. The event took place on February 8th at 4:00 pm. Volunteers from the captains NGO members came together to collect trash and debris, aiming to keep the beach clean and promote environmental awareness
